I was wondering if you could help me out, I am VERY interested in the whole 'g spot stimulation' and orgasms via the g spot, and have had a few attempts on and off over the past couple of years. Ive managed to figure out what I need to do for it to feel fab, the problem is though, it feels great, and it feels like its going to be something extraordinary, but then I just have a boring old normal orgasm.... dont get me wrong, the boring old normal orgasm is great, but I know there is more potential there and want to try and figure out how to capture it! And as you can probably imagine, its a heck of a lot of extra effort to stimulate that area for the same outcome, so I give up till I can be bothered try again, or get a bit of motivation from some extra advice!
So I guess my question is, is it normal that some women just have the same orgasm that is achieved by clitoral stimulation, through g-spot stimulation? Or am I missing something here??
Hi GSpotter,
It's great that you've found your g-spot and are able to orgasm with it - but it definitely sounds like you want something more! Orgasms feel different for everyone, and while for many women the differences between clitoral and vaginal (g-spot) orgasms are noticeable, it's not guaranteed. It's possible that you've continued to have clitoral orgasms, which is why you're not seeing a great difference at this stage.
That said, the big difference for many women when it comes to having a g-spot orgasm is that they're able to ejaculate. And that's definitely something more, or at least different to the clitoral orgasm! Female ejaculate comes from small glands located on either side of the urethra (they're called the paraurethral or skenes glands). This has a very similar make-up to semen (without the sperm), and is definitely not urine.
Whilst we often recommend combining clitoral and g-spot stimulation, perhaps this is a good time to focus on just stimulating the g-spot and ignoring the clitoris for the time-being. This stimulation can be more intense, and often the orgasmic sensation can be less clear-cut. Hence, it can take some experimentation to figure out the stimulation that makes your g-spot feel happy, orgasm, and squirt.
There are a variety of toys that are awesome to try out. The Serpentine is an amazing light-weight toy that's fun to press, rub, and tease your g-spot with, while the Delight is a rechargeable vibrator designed to vibrate or pulsate up against your g-spot. There's also the Lelo Gigi, another gorgeous rechargeable vibrator, and the We-Vibe, which stimulates both the clitoris and the g-spot and is amazing to wear with a partner.
Emptying your bladder prior to stimulating your g-spot can be helpful as well - often prior to a g-spot orgasm is can feel like you need to pee (as the same muscles are used), and knowing that your bladder is empty means you don't need to fret about urinating. Alternatively, you can experiment in the shower, where it doesn't matter if you ultimately pee or ejaculate - any mess is washed away!
Whether stimulating your g-spot with a toy or with your fingers, lubricant is a must. Yes is a lovely thick organic water-based lubricant, and Probe comes in both a thick and a thin water-based option.
There's some great media out there to help as well. Be sure to check out the Expert Guide to the G-spot DVD, and definitely have a listen to the D.VICE Advice radio show - the 03/07/10 and 30/06/07 editions both focus on g-spot pleasure.
Best of luck!

The Rock chick is also perfect to pop in and use for pleasure on those long road trips. Not that I'm suggesting you indulge in self pleasue whilst driving! But the passenger seat is great and if you do have your hands on the wheel it can of course be used totally hands free...
enjoy!
How fantastic that your new man is such a sexually creative man. It sounds as if what you are experiencing is 'female ejaculation'. This is perfectly normal and natural and nothing to be embarassed about at all. In fact, women are often keen to actually learn how to female ejaculate. Whilst this does not happen for all women it is vey common and usually occurs when the g-spot is stimulated. Sometimes it will be during orgasm or can happen quite randomly. Female ejaculate comes from small glands located either side of the urethra (paraurethral glands). It has a very similar make up to semen (without the sperm!). It can squirt out in quite a projectile way and if your partner is giving you some oral stimulation at the same time, they can get quite a shock.
I reccomend you ensure you have emptied your bladder before sex play and lie on a towel. Talk with your new man about the fact that you ejaculate and what a great lover he is to give you this much pleasure. (Guys love sexual ego boosting -don't we all!) It's really important that you realise its a really normal thing and nothing to have any shame or embarassment about. Just let yourself go and enjoy it!
You may want to look at exploring g-spot sensation further, both by yourself and with you man. The Sepentine is a fantastic g-spot toy and enables firm massaging pressure to be sustained for more intense pleasure. The Rock Chick is a D.VICE staff favourite. It's unique shape and strong vibration feel amazing -it stimulates your g-spot and clit at the same time. New on the shelves is The Smart Girls Guide to the G-Spot, which has some excellent tips. As always, the addition of lubricant enhances pleasure and sensation when using toys so some Probe or the new totally organic YES are great additions to the bedside table.
Enjoy!
All the best into your foray into girl on girl sex. All women are different, both physically and what we enjoy in relation to sexual pleasure. Some women enjoy penetration and many prefer clitoral stimulation and of course many enjoy both. Also vaginas and position of G-spot differ in size and length. There are many options for women to pleaseure each other with penetration. The fingers are one way, and also using a good quality silicone dildo can feel fantastic. Either the Babe or Toa are mid sized dildos that are very popular. A dildo can be hand held (combined with oral stimulation) or strapped on using a harness. The Fervour is a great place to start -it's functional and funky.
I'm sure you've heard the line 'size is everything' but if you look some of our g spot toys you'll find this is not so! All our G-Spot toys have curves at the tip of them, so by using your finger(s) in a 'come here' motion should do the trick. If you want to add another dimension and effect to the experience, snap on some latex gloves and use a good lubricant like Probe and you'll be in business.
If you find all this g spot stimulation hard work, why not consider a toy to do the job for you? A couple of great examples would be the G Twist with it's sensational ripples, curved head and powerful but quiet vibrations. If you would like to try a non vibrating toy you can't go past the Serpentine a sensuously S shaped toy for sexy g-spot fun with a female or male partner. Take a read of some of the feedback on this baby from some of our very satisfied customers.
I reccomend you check out the Whole Lesbian Sex Book(it's not on our website, but ring 0800 SEX TOYS and we can try to track down a copy for you at one of our retail stores)- fantastic tips for girl on girl pleasure and it's great to be informed before you play. Just remember that communication is the key to great sex, let go of expectations and have fun!
Our latest shipment of Fun Factory toys has just recently landed and one of our most popular sellers is the G Twist Semi Realistic. It is excellent for penetration, g-spot, vaginal or anal play. It is exquisitely ridged, yet smooth at the same time. With multi speed vibrations and made from quality non porous silicone, this toy is top of the wish list.
To accompany this superb toy, a lubricant like Lubexxx is a must. It is a silicone/water combination lube that is totally safe to use with this silicone vibe. Another option is the Serpentine, an acrylic toy specifically designed for G-spot stimulation. It's firm surface and curved end enables you to get leverage to give intense G-spot stimulation. This is one of our most popular G-spot toys.
There are no guarantees that your wife will ejaculate from any particular sexual experience, remember to avoid the pitfalls of performance pressure and thinking that ejaculation is some magic bullet that will transform yours or your wife's sex life. Of course it might do that, but counting on it is a sure way to miss the important learning and experience along the way. Not all women ejaculate and female ejaculation is not indicative of pleasure.
Women will often ejaculate from stimulation of the G-spot. This is refering to the urethral sponge which surrounds the urethra and it swells when you are aroused. When women ejaculate it comes from little glands located on either side of the urethral opening and has a similar make up to semen (without the sperm). Whilst all women are physically able to ejaculate (unless you do not have the paraurethral glands) it just seems to happen for some women. For some women ejaculation occurs with orgasm and for others just randomly when the G-spot is stimulated. If we all focused a lot more on specific G-spot stimulation in our sex play many more women would ejaculate.
So yes i believe all women can learn how to ejaculate. I reccommend you have a listen to the D.VICE advice radio show on the Female G-spot and check out the Sex info section. Applying consistent firm pressure to the G-spot is going to give you the most stimulation and make ejaculation more likely. Using a hard surfaced toy with a curved tip and applying massaging pressure is the key. The Serpentine has been specifically designed by D.VICE for G-spot stimulation -it's fantastic! Also a glass dildo such as the Glass fun sensation is great for reaching the g-spot. If you find vibration stimulating for the G-spot the G-twist is a high quality silicone vibe with a great curve. Always use lubricant for G-spot stimulation - Probe is excellent.
Another practise that often allows women to ejaculate is fisting. This is where the whole hand is inserted into the vagina. This creates a deliciously full sensation and puts pressure on the G-spot. Fisting is a specialised technique and requires communication and a lot of care and awareness. Lube XXX is reccomended for fisting as a lot of lubricant is required. The sensation described by women who enjoy fisting is that of a continuous all body G-spot orgasm that is incredibly intense and long lasting.
The challenge in relation to female ejaculation is for us to change our perception of penetration. The shift is to be totally focused on the receptive persons pleasure -then anything is possible. All the best on your ejaculation journey!
