Made By D.VICE...What does this mean?

Products that bear the D.VICE logo, are made here in NZ, in the D.VICE factory in Wellington. We are a small team, producing a range of quality sex toys for adventurous, every day people.
Here's some of the things we do at D.VICE;
SOURCE LOCALLY
Where we can we try to source local and within New Zealand. While this isn’t always possible one of the main materials we source is New Zealand leather. We use a lot of leather in D.VICE strap-on harnesses, leather cuffs and collars, bondage bra’s, blindfolds and clothing. We use the finest quality clothing grade leather; this is durable, soft and comfortable and fits against the body like a second skin. New Zealand leather is free range of a very high quality and durable, these products usually last for a number of years and fit to the shape of the wearer.
We recognise not everyone agrees with leather or wants to wear it, so we offer non leather options as well. All We recognise not everyone agrees with leather, or wants to wear it; so we offer non-leather options as well. All D.VICE branded strap-on’s are made in our own factory including those made from denim, neoprene-wetsuit material and vinyl and webbing.
A lot of the bits and bobs- domes, thread, fabric etc is purchased from NZ suppliers, so whilst they are originally from an offshore supplier, we support local distributors as well as manufacturers.

MADE TO LAST
Good quality, long lasting products means less landfill. While silicone dildos and butt plugs cannot currently be recycled in the traditional sense. If kept aware from pets with sharp teeth and extreme heat (microwave or fire), they are very durable.
REPAIR RATHER THAN REPLACE
This might seem pretty basic but increasingly the skills of repair are being lost as machinery and equipment is thrown away to be replaced by newer, cheaper, short lived items.
Fortunately we still have a mobile industrial sewing machine repair man John. John is retired but is still out and about repairing machines for the few manufacturers remaining in Wellington. We get drills used for mixing silicone and appliances repaired and we recycle all our cardboard.
Unfortunately it isn't easy to get sex toys repaired. We do sometimes send them back to the supplier so they can see what went wrong and make improvements in design and performance.
RECYCLE
At D.VICE we haven’t had to buy any cardboard boxes for over 5 years. We simply reuse what we are sent from other suppliers and recall from some of the stores. This makes good economic sense as well as being good for the environment.
