D.VICE Rewards Programme terms and conditions

D.VICE Rewards is a loyalty programme offered by D.VICE to its online and in-store customers (also referred to as “the Programme”). These terms and conditions form the agreement (the “Agreement”) between each customer that participates in D.VICE Rewards (referred to as a “Member”) and D.VICE (“Company”) with respect to the programme.

By participating in D.VICE Rewards, each Member agrees to the terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the programme. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the programme terms and conditions.

D.VICE reserves the right to disqualify and ‘black-list’ Members who have violated any of the Programme terms and conditions.

D.VICE reserves the right to change the terms or conditions of the Programme or terminate the Programme at any time without prior written notice.

Rewards cannot be redeemed on any specials or discounted offers. If a member redeems points on an offer, the order will be cancelled.

Communications about D.VICE Rewards, including changes to the Programme, will be posted here and communicated in the regular D.VICE marketing email to all Members and people on the Programme database.

D.VICE Rewards is open to New Zealand residents at least 18 years of age. Programme membership is only available to individuals, Programme membership will not be available to corporations, businesses, charities, partnerships, enterprises, or any other entity, unless written approval is received in advance from D.VICE, in its sole discretion.

The Member is responsible and liable for any tax consequences which may result from Member’s participation in the Programme.

Membership is required at the point of purchase to receive D.VICE Rewards Points by way of joining with a D.VICE staff member in-store, or making a D.VICE account online.

Membership in the Programme is free and no initial purchase is required.

D.VICE reserves the right to refuse issuance of a D.VICE Rewards account to any customer who does not follow the enrolment procedures.

Member should notify the Programme of any changes to Personal Information such as name, address, telephone numbers, and email address either by logging into their online account, or by visiting the D.VICE store (please note identification may be required). Changes cannot be made over the telephone.

D.VICE reserves the right to cancel any D.VICE Rewards account for which it has incomplete, inaccurate, false or fictitious Personal Information and all D.VICE Rewards points earned on that account will be forfeited.

The account enables the Member of D.VICE Rewards to access sales and promotional pricing, earn D.VICE Rewards points on certain purchases or behaviors (“Points”) and redeem Points on certain future purchases at D.VICE (in-store or online).

From time to time, special Programme offers will be made that will not be available in all store locations.

Member must provide his/her phone number associated with the D.VICE Rewards account or present his/her photo identification to the cashier in-store before the purchase transaction is completed in order to earn and/or redeem Points.

Points have no fixed value, may not be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable to any other individual or entity.

Any transfer or attempt to transfer Member’s Points shall result in automatic cancellation of the account and revocation of Member’s Points. Fraudulent and/or unauthorized use of rewards coupon codes by individuals who have not earned the level of reward through their shopping history is strictly prohibited, and may result in termination or disqualification from the Programme.

Earning Points:

D.VICE Rewards Members may be offered promotions (“Point Promotions”) which will award Points with the purchase of specified products and/or services during the promotion period.

Items ordered online and delivered to your home will earn Points as they would if purchased in store.

Items ordered online using the Bank Deposit, Money Transfer feature will only earn Points after the outstanding balance has been paid and reconciled by the D.VICE office (and items confirmed to be sent from the store).

Point Promotions will not apply to rain check items purchased after the promotion has ended. Points will not be earned in a transaction where Store Credit is used.

Point Promotions will not apply to and cannot be earned on purchases of gift cards, party booking, hen’s night party booking or a Special Events party booking.

D.VICE Rewards Members will earn 1 point per $1 spent in-store or online, unless specified as Double Points (2 points per $1 spent) or Bonus Points (as defined at the time).

D.VICE reserves the right to add or delete items eligible for Points issuance at any time, at its sole discretion, without notice.

All Points will be awarded to the Member’s account at the time of purchase payment.

In the case of a return and/or exchanged item, the Points will be deducted from the Member’s account.

From time to time, other incentive Programmes or product specials may be combined with D.VICE Rewards and these Programmes may offer incentives that can be accumulated on your D.VICE Reward account.

Redeeming Points:

When purchasing items the Member may choose to either redeem earned Points or continue saving Points to use on a future purchase of products from D.VICE.

If the Member elects to redeem earned Points, the Points will be converted into the value of the reward and the redemption points will be deducted from the total price of the Member’s purchase of items and/or services.

Earned Points are converted into rewards in 5 core tiers:

  • (1) 100 points = $10 reward
  • (2) 300 points = $60 reward
  • (3) 500 points = $112.50 reward
  • (4) 800 points = $200 reward
  • (5) 1,000 points = $300 reward

An initial reward of 100 points will be awarded upon joining the Programme.

D.VICE may, at any time and without notice, change, eliminate, or terminate the Point earning and redemption procedures and offerings and at its discretion, may not show the full list of redemption tiers on marketing materials.

Rewards cannot be redeemed on any specials or discounted offers. If a member redeems points on an offer, the order will be cancelled.

Upon redemption of Points, the Points will immediately be deducted from Member’s account.

Once Points are redeemed, Points cannot be credited back to Member’s account.

D.VICE has a strict No Returns policy for any product returned for a change of mind - due to health and safety. However, when returning items paid with Rewards Points, the points will be refunded back to the Member.

The sale or barter of Points, or any other award or benefit (other than by the Company) is expressly prohibited.

Any Points, award, or benefit transferred, assigned, or sold in violation of the terms and conditions will be confiscated and membership in the Programme may be terminated.

D.VICE Rewards Points do not have an expiry, but D.VICE reserves the right to suspend, inactivate or close Member accounts at their discretion after 12 calendar months of inactivity with all accumulated Points being forfeited.

Member Information & Communication:

By participating in the Programme, Member agrees to allow Company to communicate via mail, email, phone and other channels.

If permission is granted by the Member, Company may also communicate via text or mobile device.

Company may use these channels to communicate the Member account status, notify Member when they are eligible for a reward, communicate Programme changes, and offer special Member promotions, coupons and more.

Member information will be protected in accordance with the Online Privacy and Security policy and/or the Notice of Privacy Practices, as applicable.
